Reflexology is the science that deals with the principle that there are reflexes on the hands and feet that correspond to all parts of the body.

Reflexology helps to maintain and restore health and is a safe, holistic therapy that is used to help people of all ages and in all walks of life.

A typical reflexology session lasts up to an hour and includes a soothing foot wash.

Massage involves the systematic manipulation of the soft tissues of the foot, reflexology stimulates the reflexes and nerve pathways of the whole body by working the feet, thereby working the whole body including the organs, glands, muscles and of course the feet.

Reflexology is so much more than a foot massage.

Clinical research into reflexology and the benefits that can follow is limited – however empirical evidence is abundant with many people reporting that reflexology helps them with a variety of ailments including:

  • Chronic pain
  • Back pain
  • Tingling sensations in limbs (restless leg syndrome)
  • Multiple Sclerosis and associated spasms

  • Fibromyalgia
  • Headaches / migraines
  • Problems sleeping

Stress is a factor in 70% of modern illness. Reflexology provides a wonderful way to de-stress, relax and unwind.
